Long Tradition
Back in 1946, Alessandro Luciani opened a workshop for the processing of marble, stone, and granite in Carrara, a city that boasts an unrivaled marble tradition.
In 1989 the company became one of the first European members of the Marble Institute of America adhering to its Code of Ethics for quality management and customer commitment.
Today, after more than 70 years, the family tradition is continued by the ISO 9001:2015 certified company ELLE MARMI s.r.l. and other associated companies.

Elle Marmi s.r.l. offers consultancy both to architects and constructors. In fact, the company is able to supply any type of material and follow through all phases of the workmanship, from technical assistance of planning, through shop drawings, to shipment of materials anywhere in the world.
Powered by renewable energy
Our workshop is equipped with extraction system for marble and granite processing and we use energy produced by our 105 KW photovoltaic system on the warehouse roof.

Elle Marmi s.r.l. was among the first European marble companies to become a member of The Natural Stone Institute in 1989 with membership no. 182. We adhere to NSI Code of Ethics for quality management and customer orientation.

Our state of the art workshop
Elle Marmi produces exclusively in its workshop in Carrara, Italy.
The workshop is equipped with high precision cutting equipment such as:
- CNC Waterjet for ornaments and inlays
- CNC contouring/shaping machine, including our showpiece: a 2-bench contouring machine that allows us to process slabs up to 4 meters wide!
- CNC bridge saws
- Edge polishing machines
- Calibrating and grinding machines
- Diamond wire saw and tilter
- 7 axis robot

The quality of the finishing by hand
Elle Marmi’s artisans give a final touch by hand to a great part of the machine-produced single pieces and realize special finishings such as chiseled surfaces. This way we combine the possibilities of the most advanced technologies, with the quality of the finishing by hand.
